[The day starts like any other since he started working at Seventh Heaven a month back: go in, open up and prepare what he has to, make the food for the morning customers. Aleos has learned to take it all in stride, and once the number of people starts to dwindle down he takes time to rest against the counter, fiddling with his journal. There was something that had been bothering him since before he arrived, and now... It's a good time as any to ask, isn't it? So he takes a few deep breaths and starts to speak, hoping he doesn't sound too much look a fool.]

What does a name mean to you? Almost everyone has them, but it's not exactly uncommon to go by a nickname, or another name altogether. The latter part of the group interests me a little more—why did you not keep your original name?

... Why didn't you change your name? [He must sound so stupid with this, and he shakes his head a little in frustration. Public speaking wasn't his strongest suit.]

And if you've had enough hearing about that, I guess I'll take the time to ask about a fighting instructor, or partner. Self-defense, firearms and a little swordsmanship, that's what I know. But I'm not calling myself an experienced fighter.

[That should be good enough. Once he's received some answers and dealt with anyone lingering in the restaurant as his shift ends, he'll be heading out to go mill about the battle dome, observing anyone using the rooms but not in a hurry to go in himself, if at all.]

I mean, Tenten isn't very hard to say. I guess you could call me Ten, but who needs to nickname something like Tenten? [ The way she says her name is almost as if she's unfamiliar with it. ] I mean, I've been told it sounds like a nickname already! [ and she has beat up people for that 8| ]

Well, it kind of does. There really aren't many more ways to shorten it unless you go with 'En' or something.[Oh look, she has another to add to her list of people to beat up!]

Yeah and no one is going to shorten my name to just "En"! That sounds stupid! [ Although Tenten does possess and use such a list, Aleos has not made a grand entrance on it. He's still a cool kid. ]

Yes it does, I'm not sure about the meaning either. [Unless she was into having her name mean dark and morbid things...]

Meaning? [ Does En mean something funky in his world she's not aware about? ]

I might be wrong, and I really don't mean any offense by this, but "En" can mean "death" in my world.

Yeah, I wouldn't want to be known as death. That's just pretentious and kinda ominous. I'm not that scary. [ Despite what other ninja MEN might think. ]

You don't seem that scary to me, should I be? [He's had his fair share of meeting people who looked completely harmless, but were terrifying when provoked.]

If you don't piss me off, there's nothing to worry about. [ Tenten's slightly scary, but by Naruto standards she's harmless unless she's really angry. ]

Trust me, I do my best not to offend anyone on purpose. Sometimes it just... happens. [He has a knack for it, being bluntly honest most of the time.]

It's okay. You wouldn't want to ask for that, trust me. It's pretty hard to offend me. [ Unless you're sexist. Then you wouldn't even get a warning, tbh. You'd just get two matching shiny spears in your wings. ]

To be honest, you do seem... very capable, to me. In a way that reminds me of a friend back home.

Capable is my middle name, kinda. Out of my team I'm on at home, I'm kinda known as the person that keeps the rest of the team on track since they're a little odd. [ Tenten is asking the great gods of Luceti to make sure he's never heard of Might Guy or Rock Lee. ]

But what? I mean, I get a little excited and heated at certain things, but I'm not the one who convinces others to dress up as turtles or think that walking on their hands around the village is adequate training. That definitely makes the sane one.
